27 May 2024

Did you know that following the revision of the judicial map in the Republic of Moldova, 14 Courts of Justice and 3 Courts of Appeal are to start being functional?

This will lead to:

  • Strengthening the capabilities of judicial bodies
  • Enhancing the efficiency of case handling
  • Facilitating citizens’ access to justice
  • Even distribution of judges’ workload
  • Creating conditions for the specialization of judges
  • Advancing digitalization processes in the justice system

For more details, consult the infographic developed by the Group of Justice Experts (GEJ) of the Institute for European Policies and Reforms (IPRE), in partnership with the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Moldova.

Moreover, during the first #Justice4Moldova policy dialogue on the revision of the judicial map, held in February 2024, more details were discussed, which are available here.
