26 May 2020

The Institut für Europäische Politik based in Berlin (IEP) together with the Institute for European Policies and Reforms (IPRE) and the Institute for Strategic Initiatives (IPIS) have launched the project “WE&EU – EU Perceptions and Reality in Moldova”.

The overall objective of the project is to make a substantial contribution to overcoming the social dividing lines of the EU rapprochement process in Moldova by promoting informed intra-societal dialogue on the values and norms underlying the Association Agreement and the concrete benefits of modernising Moldova in the course of the EU rapprochement process.

On July 31, 2019, IPRE hosted a Coordination Meeting during which the partners and key stakeholders discussed the specific project activities, which include the development of fact checks, the organization of citizens’ dialogues in the regions, the implementation of EU awareness workshops as well as the production of videos and TV shows and an exchange with German civil society representatives on best-practices in EU communication.

The project will be implemented in the period from July 2019 – June 2020 and is kindly supported by the German Federal Foreign Office.
