A specialist in the judicial anti-corruption field, a member of the Superior Council of Magistracy of Romania, comes to Chisinau on the invitation of the IEPR

Judge Cristi Danilet, member of the Superior Council of Magistracy of Bucharest, will come to Chisinau next week to attend the conference: “Anticorruption: Current situation and case studies of Romania”. The event is organized by the Institute for European Politics and Reforms (IEPR), in collaboration with the Institute for European Politics in Berlin.

Cristi Danilet will uncover the experience of the neighboring state in combating corruption. Another special guest from Romania, Deputy Chief Prosecutor of the National Anticorruption Directorate (NAD), Calin Nistor, will present a similar report at the conference. A press conference will be held with their participation on September, 16.

International experts, representatives of civil society, national institutions of law and mass-media institutions were also invited at the conference that will take place on September 15-16.

The event will be finalized with a set of recommendations to the Moldovan authorities for strengthening the means of corruption combating, adjusted to the best European practices.

The project is implemented with the financial support of the German Foreign Ministry.
