In Warsaw, the Embassy of the Netherlands in Poland and the Embassy of the Republic of Moldova in Poland, in cooperation with the Institute of European Policies and Reforms (#IPRE), the Clingendael Institute, and the Polish Centre for Eastern Studies (OSW), co-hosted a panel discussion on Moldova’s European path.
Ambassadors Jennes de Mol and Violeta Agrici opened the event, followed by expert contributions from Iulian Groza (IPRE), Kamil Całus (OSW), and Marina Ohanjanyan (Clingendael) on the stakes of Moldova’s parliamentary elections, EU integration, hybrid threats, and the country’s strategic role in the region.
“The 28 September elections are not just about choosing a new parliament, they are about choosing Moldova’s future as a free, sovereign democracy anchored in the European Union, despite Russia’s relentless attempts to derail us through hybrid warfare”, says Iulian Groza.
The debate brought together diplomats, journalists, and policy experts, and concluded with a reception featuring Moldovan wine, highlighting the country’s tradition and hospitality.
