Project: Consultancy services for improving the strategic and human resources conditions for the effective application of the strategic planning framework in the Republic of Moldova

Project Scope: To support the development of capacities and competences within Moldovan public institutions, specifically in strategic planning and policy development
Key Activities:
- Revision of the methodological framework on strategic planning.
- Capacity-building programs for civil servants from the State Chancellery, ministries and other central public authorities in strategic planning and public policy cost estimation;
- Conducting mid-term and ex-post evaluations of policy documents and developing the methodology for ex-post evaluation of the National Development Strategy.
Project Objective: The initiative is part of the Project “Policy Advisory Fund”, financed by the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development and implemented by Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH. It aims to supports the development of capacities and competences within Moldovan public institutions in strategic planning and policy development, leveraging the government’s commitment to reforms, and harnesses the potential of mobilizing the Moldovan diaspora for the socio-economic development of the country, the project seeks to improve the performance of public institutions for the effective implementation of Moldova’s Government Program in line with the EU Association Agreement.
