Project title: “Civil Society for European Integration”

The overall objective of the Action is to contribute to increased capacity of civil society organisations to support the implementation of the conditionalities attached to Moldova’s EU candidate status and the Association Agenda, at national and local level.
The general objective is to strengthen the capacities of civil society organizations to support and promote the alignment of budget priorities with the integration agenda at the national and local level, as well as to increase the involvement of the 3 platforms of civil society organizations, so that they act cohesively and provide the necessary support in the implementation of the conditions related to the EU candidate status of the Republic of Moldova and the Association Agenda.
Specific objectives (SOs):
SO1: Improve capacity, ensure resilience, and enhance participation of civil society organisations in the budget monitoring and advocacy at the central and local levels, with a priority focus on budget analysis in the context of AA implementation and Moldova’s accession process to the EU.
SO2: Enhance the capacity and involvement of the three civil society organisations platforms (i) the Moldovan National Platform of the Eastern Partnership Civil Society Forum (ii) the EU-Moldova Civil Society Platform and (iii) the Domestic Advisory Group on Trade and Sustainable Development.

Implementation Consortium:
The project “Civil Society for European Integration” is implemented by the Independent Think Tank ”Expert-Grup”, as lead partner, in partnership with the Institute for European Policies and Reforms (IPRE), AO Institutum Virtutes Civilis (IVC) and the Friedrich Ebert Foundation.
