Policy Dialogue Session on Moldova’s Progress in Justice, Freedom and Security

16 July 2026

The Institute for European Policies and Reforms (IPRE), in partnership with IOM Moldova, organised a policy dialogue session dedicated to the progress made by the Republic of Moldova in implementing the recommendations of the European Union’s 2025 Enlargement Package and the requirements of the EU acquis under Chapter 24, “Justice, Freedom and Security.”

The event brought together representatives of civil society organisations, the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the Delegation of the European Union to the Republic of Moldova, and development partners.

During the session, participants discussed reports prepared by civil society organisations on reforms in the field of home affairs and the progress achieved in aligning the national framework with European Union standards.

The workshop provided a platform for constructive dialogue between public authorities, civil society, and development partners, contributing to a transparent exchange of information on the implementation of reforms and commitments undertaken by the Republic of Moldova in the EU accession process.

The event was organised within the framework of the EU-CSOs4MIA project, implemented by IOM Moldova and IPRE and co-funded by the European Union.
