“Briefing” Project – Moldova’s First Geopolitics Podcast

Period: May–December 2026

The Institute for European Policies and Reforms (IPRE), in partnership with TVR Moldova, produces “Briefing” – Moldova’s first geopolitics podcast.

The project aims to bring major foreign policy and security issues closer to citizens through clear explanations, fact-based analysis and discussions about the practical impact of international developments on the Republic of Moldova.

Each edition examines a geopolitical topic relevant to Moldova, including the European integration process, regional security, Russia’s war against Ukraine, hybrid threats, relations with strategic partners, developments within NATO and the European Union, and emerging international trends shaping the country’s future.

Component I focuses on the production and broadcast of a series of television podcast editions in which experts on foreign policy, security and European integration explain key international events and trends in language accessible to a broad audience.

The podcast is presented by Daniel Vodă, Irina Gotișan-Sotnic and Ion Tăbârță and is broadcast by TVR Moldova every Sunday at 10:00 p.m.

Component II seeks to broaden public access to the project’s content through the publication of full editions, editorial articles, video excerpts, explanatory materials, visual content and summaries adapted for digital platforms and social media.

Through this initiative, IPRE and TVR Moldova contribute to fostering a culture of informed public dialogue, strengthening critical thinking and increasing society’s resilience to disinformation and geopolitical manipulation.
