IPRE consolidate its Leadership Team and Sets Strategic Directions for 2025–2030
On Friday, 21 March 2025, the General Assembly of the members of the Institute for European Policies and Reforms (IPRE) convened to evaluate the organisation’s activity in 2024 and adopt new important managerial and strategic decisions for the coming years.
Thus, the members of IPRE elected a new composition of the Board of Directors, consisting of both newly appointed members and those with renewed mandates. Following the vote, Mariana Rufa, Executive Director of the European Business Association (EBA), was elected as Chair of the Board of Directors, and Victor Lutenco, representative of the founding members, was designated Vice-Chair.
The new members of the Board of Directors include:
- Nicu Popescu – Distinguished policy Fellow of the European Council on Foreign Relations (ECFR);
- Dorina Baltag – Researcher, founder of “Noroc Olanda”;
- Sorina Ștefârță – Communication specialist, journalist;
- Valentina Ursu – Journalist.
The General Assembly also extended the mandate of IPRE’s executive team. As such, the following have been reconfirmed in their roles:
- Iulian Groza, Executive Director;
- Adrian Ermurachi, Co-Director;
- Stanislav Gilețchi and Mihai Mogîldea, Deputy Directors.
In addition to the managerial decisions, the General Assembly approved IPRE’s newInstitutional Development Strategy for 2025–2030, which sets the strategic priorities to support the fulfilment of our mission – the European integration of the Republic of Moldova. The Assembly also adopted IPRE’s new Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) Policy, reflecting the organisation’s commitment to sustainability and social responsibility principles.
